History of Saba Cooperative

Saba Cooperative's story begins in 2011 in a rural town in New Hampshire, where a group of people came together around intentional community, spiritual exploration, ecological living, and shared spiritual practice. What started as a small gathering grew into a wider interfaith network of participants, ministries, and missions across multiple states.
Over the years, Saba has evolved from a single place-based community into a distributed spiritual cooperative: a 508(c)(1)(a) body that holds space for self-governed spiritual and community work without merging independent offerings into one organization.
Our journey has included milestones and setbacks. What has remained constant is commitment to interfaith spiritual community, ecological responsibility, and the autonomy of affiliated ministries — including the freedom to leave or change affiliation.
Today, Saba Cooperative continues that work: spiritual and regenerative community building, affiliated tools and trainings, and infrastructure that connects scattered missions under one cooperative spiritual body.
